From the sea to the volcanoes, some very nice holidays!

De la mer aux volcans, de très belles vacances!

In July, 2017th, Laure has just begun to work for a new company, then she can not take long holidays. So I decided to go on a small trip in Iceland. Here is the bike ready to go from our flat, near Porte de Clignancourt!

En juin 2017 Laure vient de commencer un nouveau travail, elle ne peut donc pas prendre de grandes vacances. Je décide donc de partir seul pour un petit voyage en Islande. Voici la moto prête à partir du pied de notre appartement, à côté de la porte de Clignancourt!

It is a long trip from Paris to Hirtshals, where I have to get in the boat to Iceland. On the way, I sleep on a bench on the side of the highway

C’est long de Paris à Hirtshals, où je dois prendre le bateau pour l’Islande. Je m’arrête en chemin pour dormir sur un banc sur une aire d’autoroute

The weather is nice during the crossing, the passengers stay outside to enjoy the sun.

Le temps est radieux pendant la traversée, nous profitons du soleil sur le pont.

Once at land the weather is still wonderful. Actually during my two weeks in Iceland I had almost no rain, and was able to camp very comfortably everynight.

Une fois à terre je suis toujours gâté par la météo. Pendant mes deux semaines en Islande il n’a presque pas plu, j’ai pu camper confortablement toutes les nuits.
